Noida, July 21 (APAC Media): Bandhan Bank on Tuesday reported a 35% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 502 crore for the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 372 crore in the same period a year ago.
The bank said its net revenue stood at Rs 3,524 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 3,483 crore in Q1 FY26, registering a year-on-year growth of 1.2%.
The bank’s net interest income (NII) rose 5.9% year-on-year to Rs 2,921 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 2,757 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The private lender’s net interest margin (NIM) stood at 6.2% in Q1 FY27, remaining flat on a sequential basis.

The collection efficiency for EEB loans remained unchanged at 98.5% in Q1 FY27. The bank’s net NPA stood at 0.9%, while gross NPA declined to 3.1% from 3.3% in Q4 FY26. The provision coverage ratio, including technical write-offs, stood at 85.9% as of June 30, 2026.
As of June 30, 2026, the bank’s total deposits stood at Rs 1.65 lakh crore, up 7% year-on-year from Rs 1.55 lakh crore in the previous year. In Q1 FY27, CASA deposits were at Rs 48,479 crore, with the CASA ratio remaining above 29%.
The ratio of CASA plus retail term deposits to total deposits stood at 74%.
The bank’s distribution network spans nearly 6,400 outlets, with a workforce of more than 74,500 employees.
