Mumbai: The MeitY Nasscom Centre of Excellence (CoE), a key initiative under Digital India, has partnered with IIT Bombay and other industry bodies to organize the Smart Manufacturing Research Conclave (SMRC) on 30th August in Mumbai. This event aims to accelerate the adoption of AI and other digital technologies across India’s manufacturing sector by bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and industry needs.
The SMRC will bring together top academicians, researchers, solution providers, manufacturers, and students from across the country to explore the latest developments in smart manufacturing. Selected researchers from nearly 150 participants will showcase innovations in areas like AI, advanced analytics, IoT, robotics, and additive manufacturing. The conclave will also feature discussions on how Collaborative AI can drive sustainability and innovation in the industry.
Industry leaders from companies such as Pidilite Industries, Aditya Birla Group, Mitsubishi Electric, and Siemens will share their experiences and insights on navigating the evolving landscape of smart manufacturing. Additionally, Indian startups specializing in AI, OT security, shop floor digitization, and industrial IoT will present their advanced solutions, offering a glimpse into the future of manufacturing in India.
