Mumbai: Yotta Data Services has joined forces with Sarvam AI to develop Sarvam 1, India’s first open-source AI model. Trained on a massive internal dataset, the model supports 10 Indian languages and runs on Yotta’s Shakti Cloud infrastructure.
Sarvam AI is also launching Sarvam Agents, AI-powered tools that help businesses automate tasks like customer support and feedback, available across platforms like WhatsApp and phone services in multiple Indian languages.
The partnership uses NVIDIA’s AI technology, with Yotta providing the cloud power to train these models faster. Sunil Gupta, Yotta’s Co-Founder, sees this as a big step for India’s AI development, while Sarvam’s Co-Founder, Vivek Raghavan, believes it will make AI solutions more affordable and accessible to businesses in India.
This collaboration aims to help Indian companies tap into AI technology more easily, offering secure, cost-effective solutions for various industries.
