Mumbai: Castrol, the automotive and industrial lubricant brand, has appointed Sandeep Sangwan as its Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He has been serving as the Managing Director of Castrol India Limited since January 2020.
Sangwan joined BP p.l.c in April 2012 and held various leadership roles for key markets in Europe, Asia, and Africa. He has been at the center of business transformation, sales, and marketing projects and has vast experience in building brands, driving growth, and leading high-performance teams. Additionally, he has worked with Gillette and P&G for more than 20 years in India, the Middle East, China, and Europe, where he led verticals including sales, marketing, and P&L delivery.
Sangwan is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow and Regional Engineering College (NIT), Kurukshetra.
