New Delhi: The Central Government has announced the appointment of Arvindar Singh Sahney as the Chairman of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL). He will succeed Shrikant Mahadev Vaidya whose tenure as the chairman ended on August 31, 2024.
Arvind brings extensive experience and expertise in the energy sector. In his new role, Sahney is expected to drive the corporation’s growth and strategic initiatives in the coming years. He will also support the corporation in steering through the evolving challenges of the energy sector, including the transition to cleaner energy solutions, sustainability initiatives, and the expansion of the company’s diverse product and service offerings.
Indian Oil Corporation has been at the forefront of meeting the country’s energy demands. Under Sahney’s leadership, IOCL is expected to continue playing a crucial role in the national energy landscape while aligning with global sustainability standards.
