Gurugram: MobiKwik, one of India’s leading financial technology companies, has announced the appointment of Jaskaran Singh Kapany as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Kapany announced the news on LinkedIn, expressing enthusiasm about contributing to MobiKwik’s vision of transforming digital payments and financial services.
Kapany brings over 20 years of extensive experience in areas like marketing, branding, and strategic growth across multiple industries. Prior to joining MobiKwik, he spent a year advising startups on marketing and business strategies. Previously, he served as CMO at Table Space Technologies, where he built the company’s marketing framework from scratch, focusing on brand development, PR, digital media, and social marketing.
His accomplishments include leading marketing at Xiaomi India as CMO, overseeing product marketing, brand strategy, and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives across its entire portfolio. He successfully executed social media campaigns, performance marketing, and customer acquisition strategies, strengthening Xiaomi’s brand presence in India.
Kapany began his career in 2003 at JWT, managing brand-building and repositioning projects for notable brands such as Unilever, De Beers, Brylcreem, Godrej Hershey’s, Philips, SBI Mutual Fund, Sri Lanka Tourism, Baskin Robbins, Standard Chartered Bank, and Reliance Money. Over the years, he has held senior marketing roles at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and Paytm, where he contributed significantly to their brand growth and market expansion.
At MobiKwik, Kapany aims to leverage his extensive expertise to bolster the company’s marketing strategies, enhance its market leadership, and improve customer engagement. His appointment comes as MobiKwik continues to innovate in the digital payments space, catering to millions of users across India.
