Mumbai: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Maharashtra government has transferred eight senior IAS officers to streamline administrative efficiency. The changes include key appointments across various departments. As per the official notification, IAS Richa Bagla (1999 batch) has been transferred from the Treasury and Accounts department and posted as Secretary of Financial Reforms.
The list of other transferred officers includes:

IAS Manisha Verma (1993 batch) has been designated as Additional Chief Secretary, Skill Development Department.

IAS Dinesh Waghmare (1994 batch) has been appointed as the State Chief Election Commissioner, filling a post vacant since September last year.

IAS Shaila A (2003 batch), previously Secretary of Financial Reforms, has been reassigned as Secretary, Treasury and Accounts.

IAS Dhiraj Kumar (2005 batch) has been appointed as Secretary, Medical Education Department, replacing Dinesh Waghmare.

IAS Mangesh Awhad has been named Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra Medical Goods Purchase Authority.

IAS Krishnakant Kanwariya (2022 batch) has been transferred as Additional District Collector, Shahada division, Nandurbar district.

IAS Ganesh Patil has been posted as Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department.
The reshuffle aims to enhance governance efficiency by placing experienced officers in strategic roles.
