Chittoor: Apollo University, Apollo Hospitals, and the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, are set to jointly establish the Centre for Digital Health and Precision Medicine at Apollo University’s campus in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The initiative aims to revolutionize patient care by integrating digital health solutions and precision medicine.
Role of the Centre
The centre’s research will focus on critical healthcare areas, including cardiovascular diseases, acute and emergency medicine, and multi-morbidity care. It will also explore the potential of genomic medicine and artificial intelligence in delivering precision care. Stakeholder’s Perspective
Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Chancellor of Apollo University and founding chairman of Apollo Hospitals, inaugurated the center. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the transformative potential of the center in revolutionizing healthcare.
