New Delhi: Nasscom Foundation announced the appointment of Jyoti Sharma as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Sharma succeeds Nidhi Bhasin and brings over two decades of experience in driving social impact, leading program development, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement.
An alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Sharma has held leadership positions at prominent organizations, including Organic Cotton Accelerator, the European Commission, World Resources Institute, Magic Bus India Foundation, Action Aid, and Save the Children. Her diverse experience positions her to drive the foundation’s mission of addressing social challenges through technology, fostering a more equitable and inclusive digital future.
Rostow Ravanan, Chairman of Nasscom Foundation, stated that Sharma’s visionary leadership and extensive expertise are expected to play a crucial role in scaling the foundation’s impact through flagship programs, broadening its reach, and driving meaningful change by leveraging technology.
Sharma outlined her focus on strengthening Nasscom Foundation’s legacy of ‘tech for good.’ In the new role, she will aim to align technology with social innovation to support India’s vision of achieving digital equity and inclusive growth.
Established in 2001, Nasscom Foundation is a not-for-profit organization representing India’s tech industry. It has been at the forefront of initiatives aimed at leveraging technology to address critical social challenges.
