Jaipur: As part of a significant administrative reshuffle, the government of Rajasthan has announced the promotions and fresh postings of 8 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers.
According to the official notification, IAS Siddharth Sihag (2012 batch) has been appointed as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister. He previously served as the Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister. The promotion brings him closer to the government’s decision-making processes.
The list of other transfers includes:
IAS Praveen Gupta (1995 batch), who served as the principal secretary of the Public Works Department (PWD), has been promoted to additional chief secretary of PWD.
IAS Bhaskar Aatmaram Sawant (1995 batch), previously serving as the Principal Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department and Ground Water Department has been elevated to the position of Additional Chief Secretary of the same departments.
IAS Manju Rajpal (2000 batch), Secretary and Registrar, Cooperative Department, has been now appointed as Principal Secretary of these departments.
IAS Debasish Prusty (2000 batch), Secretary, Finance Department, has been promoted to the position of Principal Secretary of the department.
IAS Kumar Pal Gautam (2009 batch), Director and Ex-Officio Special Secretary, Local Government Department, Commissioner and Secretary of the same department.
IAS Vishram Meena (2009 batch), Director and Ex-Officio Special Secretary, Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Department (Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department), has been made Commissioner and Secretary of the department.
IAS Tikamchand Bohra (2012 batch), Joint Secretary, Finance Department, has been promoted to the role of Special Secretary, Finance Department.
