New Delhi: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has assigned two senior IAS officers to significant positions under the central staffing scheme. As per the official notification, IAS Rohan Chand Thakur (2009 batch), belonging to the Himachal Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Director in the Department of Financial Services, Delhi. He will serve for five years from the date he assumes charge or until further orders. His role will involve overseeing key financial policies and regulatory matters.
Similarly, IAS Amar Kushawha (2012 batch), belonging to the Tamil Nadu cadre, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Fertilizers, Delhi. He will hold this position for four years or until further orders. His responsibilities will include policy implementation and ensuring smooth coordination within the fertilizer sector.
These appointments reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency in crucial departments related to finance and agriculture.
