New Delhi: IIT Delhi has signed an MoU with IndiGo to develop artificial intelligence-driven solutions aimed at improving airline operations and passenger experience. The collaboration will focus on optimizing flight disruptions, enhancing operational efficiency, and offering personalized travel recommendations.
Focus on Operational Efficiency
Under the agreement, IIT Delhi researchers will work on disruption management strategies to help IndiGo mitigate flight and crew scheduling challenges. The team will integrate data from multiple sources, including fleet recovery, crew management, and revenue estimation, to minimize delays and improve efficiency.
AI-Driven Passenger Services
The partnership also aims to enhance passenger experience through AI-based recommendations for travel-related services. By analyzing travel history, demographic data, and geo-IP addresses, IndiGo plans to offer personalized suggestions for flight deals, insurance, meal plans, and hotel bookings.
