The university will set up a Salesforce AI Innovation Lab and Academia Centre of Excellence as part of the collaboration. The initiative will give students and faculty access to Salesforce technologies and practical training in artificial intelligence and enterprise software.
The lab will focus on technologies including Agentforce, Data 360 and Tableau Next. Students will also use Salesforce’s Trailhead platform for role-based learning, training programmes and industry credentials.
The collaboration is aimed at connecting classroom education with practical enterprise technology skills. Students will get opportunities to work on AI solutions and workflows based on Salesforce technologies, while faculty members will have access to resources for teaching and research.
Enterprise AI Education
The partnership comes as universities increasingly expand AI-focused programmes and industry-linked learning. For CHRIST University, the initiative will support its broader plans around AI education, research and digital innovation.
Dr. Fr. Jose C.C., Vice Chancellor of CHRIST University, said the partnership will support the university’s AI Vision 2030 and help students gain experience with enterprise AI technologies.
Mankiran Chowhan, Managing Director at Salesforce India, said the collaboration will focus on giving students and educators hands-on experience with enterprise AI and skills for real-world applications.
The Salesforce AI Innovation Lab is expected to serve as a platform for AI learning, research and industry-oriented projects at the university.
