Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Government has transferred 31 IAS officers as part of a major bureaucratic reshuffle. Among the notable transfers, IAS Thiru R. Sadheesh has been appointed as the Collector of Dharmapuri district. He previously served as the Additional Collector (Development) and Project Officer of the District Rural Development Agency in Erode.
Other key transfers include:
IAS Dr. Darez Ahmed, last serving as the Secretary to the Government, Special Programme Implementation Department, has been transferred and appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of ‘Guidance Tamil Nadu’, the state’s investment promotion agency.
IAS Dr. T Prabhushankar, previously the Collector of Tiruvallu, has been now appointed as MD of the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC), replacing IAS Dr. Alby John Varghese.
IAS Thiru S. Saravanan, previously the Executive Director of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has been transferred and posted as Collector of Dindigul district.
IAS Thiru M. Pratap, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Special Programme Implementation Department, is transferred and posted as Collector of Tiruvallur district.
IAS Tmt MN Poongodi, currently Collector of Dindigul district, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner (Admin) of Commercial Taxes.
IAS Tmt J Innocent Divya, currently MD of Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, has been now appointed as the Commissioner of Technical Education.
IAS Thiru Lalitaditya Neelam, currently Administrator, District Rural Development Agency, Salem, has been moved and posted as Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration.
IAS Thiru S. Ganesh, presently Commissioner of Economics and Statistics, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
