Lucknow: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred 33 IAS officers, including district magistrates (DM) of 11 districts. In addition, three IPS officers have also been transferred. Among the notable transfers, IAS Kaushal Raj Sharma (2006 batch), currently the Divisional Commissioner of Varanasi, has been appointed as the new Secretary to the Chief Minister. In his place, IAS S. Rajalingam (2009 batch), who previously served as the District Magistrate of Varanasi, will take over as the Divisional Commissioner.
IAS Satyendra Kumar (2013 batch), previously Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has now been appointed the new District Magistrate of Varanasi.

IAS Ravindra Kumar, currently DM, Bareilly, has been made DM, Azamgarh.
IAS Avinash Singh, DM Ambedkar Nagar, has been made DM Bareilly.
IAS Anupam Shukla, Special Secretary, Energy Department, has been made DM, Ambedkar Nagar.
IAS Abhishek Pandey, Vice President, Meerut Development Authority has been made DM Hapur.
IAS Avinash Kumar DM Jhansi has been made DM Ghazipur, replacing IAS Aryaka Akhouri, who becomes Special Secretary, Medical Health.
IAS Mridul Chaudhary, DM Mahoba, has been made DM, Jhansi.
IAS Gazal Bhardawaj has been made DM, Mahoba.
IAS Mahendra Singh Tomar, DM, Sant Kabir Nagar, has been made DM, Kushinagar.
IAS Alok Kumar, special secretary, secondary education, has been made DM, Sant Kabir Nagar.
IAS Shailesh Kumar has been made DM Bhadohi

IAS Gaurav Kumar has replaced IAS Indrajit Singh as Municipal Commissioner of Lucknow. Singh has been reassigned as Special Secretary, Energy Department.
IAS Vishal Singh (2015 batch), previously the DM of Bhadohi, has been made Director of Information and Culture.
IAS Shishir (2013 batch), the outgoing Information Director, has taken over as Special Secretary, MSME and Export Promotion Department, and CEO of the Khadi and Village Industries Board.
IAS Amit Gupta, Principal Secretary of Stamp and Registration, has been given additional charge of the Transport Department and has been named Chairman, UP State Road Transport Corporation, replacing Lakku Venkateshwar Lu, who continues to hold other posts.
IAS Jagdish, MD of Uttar Pradesh Medical Supply Corporation, has been appointed Home Secretary. His previous role will be taken over by IAS Dr. Ujjwal Kumar.
IAS Pulkit Khare has been appointed Mission Director, Skill Development Mission.
IAS Dr. Ved Pati Mishra has been made Secretary of the UP State Information Commission.
IAS Prerna Sharma, former DM of Hapur, is now Director of the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA).
IAS Anubhav Singh becomes Vice President, Moradabad Development Authority.
IAS Sanjay Kumar Meena, formerly CDO of Gorakhpur, is the new Vice President, Meerut Development Authority.
IAS Shahid Ahmed has been posted as Chief Development Officer, Shravasti.
IAS Harshita Singh takes charge as CDO of Prayagraj, and Shashwat Tripurari as CDO of Gorakhpur.
Among the IPS transfers, IPS DK Thakur has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG), Special Security Force (SSF), Lucknow. Additionally, IPS Bhanu Bhaskar has been made ADG, Meerut Zone, and IPS Dr. Sanjeev Gupta has been posted as ADG, Prayagraj Zone.
