New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has started publishing anonymised and non-personal data from the Aadhaar Dashboard on the government’s open data platform, data.gov.in, to enhance transparency and enable evidence-based policymaking.
The released datasets, made available by UIDAI’s Chief Data Officer and Deputy Director General, provide aggregated information on Aadhaar enrolments, updates and authentication trends.
These insights are organised by factors such as geography, age groups, and other demographic parameters.
By making such Aadhaar data-sets publicly accessible, UIDAI hopes to facilitate academic studies, encourage innovation in digital services and enable collaborative projects.
The initiative supports the government’s broader vision of leveraging open data to drive research, improve governance and expand digital inclusion.
