Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) worth Rs. 6,650 crore with Universal Success Group in Singapore.
The investment will focus on housing, logistics parks, and hyperscale data center projects. It is also expected to create employment opportunities for over 20,000 people in the state.
The details of the MoUs are as follows:
1) The first MoU aims to establish international theme-based group housing near Jewar Airport. The project will develop a modern, international-themed township near the rapidly developing Jewar International Airport.
Planned to be located in a 100-acre area in the YEIDA (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority) region, this project will be implemented with an investment of Rs. 3,500 crore. The project is expected to generate approximately 12,000 jobs and is expected to start in 2027.
2) The second MoU aims to set up a Logistics Park on Kanpur-Lucknow Highway. The project is expected to enhance the supply chain and transportation infrastructure, benefiting industrial units and promoting regional exports.
The project, planned to be implemented with an investment of Rs. 650 crore, will be located on 50 acres of land on the Kanpur-Lucknow Highway. It is expected to create around 7,500 jobs.
3) The third MoU aims to establish a Hyperscale Data Center Park in Noida or Greater Noida. The 40-megawatt IT-powered hyperscale data center is expected to strengthen UP’s position as a leading digital hub, promoting growth in the IT and technology sectors.
The project will be located in a 10-acre area with an investment of Rs. 2,500 crore. This project is expected to generate about 1,500 jobs and is planned to commence by 2028.
Together, these three projects are expected to foster growth in local businesses, small industries, and the service sector.
