Maharashtra Govt Reshuffles Three IAS Officers; IAS Abhijit Chaudhary Made Commissioner, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority

Mumbai: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Maharashtra government has transferred three IAS officers and assigned them new roles. As per the official order, IAS Abhijit Chaudhary has been transferred and posted as the Commissioner of the Pune Metropolitan Development Authority.

Chaudhary previously served as the Commissioner of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation. He was appointed to the role in July 2023.

Replacing Chaudhary in the role, IAS Dr. Vipin Itankar has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Nagpur Municipal Corporation. He is currently serving as the District Collector of Nagpur.

Subsequently, IAS Yogesh Mhase, the current Commissioner of the Pune Metropolitan Development Authority, has now been transferred and appointed as the Secretary of the Minority Development Department.
