Vijayawada. June 30 (APAC Media): Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Minister Nara Lokesh on Monday announced a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening the state’s education ecosystem, including the introduction of an AI Tutor, the modernisation of public libraries, and the establishment of a dedicated National Cadet Corps (NCC) State Directorate.
AI Tutor and Better School Facilities
During an interactive session, students shared suggestions to improve the education system. Responding to requests for enhanced digital learning, Lokesh announced that the government will introduce an AI Tutor to support classroom education.
Students also called for improved computer laboratories, computer operating system training, motivational sessions, better library facilities, and the establishment of NCC units in schools.
Libraries to Undergo Major Revamp
The minister said the state government is undertaking a comprehensive overhaul of libraries to promote reading and creativity among young learners.
He announced plans to establish a world-class library in Amaravati within the next year, while libraries at the mandal, constituency, district, and zonal levels will also be upgraded.
Dedicated NCC Directorate for Andhra Pradesh
Lokesh further announced that the Central Government has approved a separate NCC State Directorate for Andhra Pradesh, a move expected to strengthen NCC activities across the state and provide greater opportunities for students.
Encouraging students to think beyond academics, the minister also urged young people to consider public service and politics, saying committed leadership is essential for driving meaningful societal change and nation-building.
