New Delhi, June 19(CXO Media): PhonePe has elevated Achal Ananth to Vice President and Head of Data, overseeing Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science and Data Platform functions.
In his new role, he will lead PhonePe’s data strategy and teams responsible for analytics, business intelligence, machine learning initiatives and data infrastructure. Before this elevation, Ananth held several leadership positions at PhonePe, including AVP and Head of Data, AVP – Head of Analytics, BI and Data Platform, and Director – Head of Analytics and BI. His tenure has coincided with the company’s expansion across digital payments and financial services.
He brings more than a decade of experience in analytics and business intelligence. Before joining PhonePe, he worked at Flipkart in pricing analytics and business analysis roles. He also held positions at Affine Analytics, Tata Consultancy Services, and Mu Sigma, where he worked on data-driven business and analytics projects.
