New Delhi, June 2(CXO Media): Scripbox has acquired the mutual fund distribution business of Bluechip Capital, marking another consolidation move in India’s wealth management sector.
The transaction will lead to the transfer of Bluechip Capital’s mutual fund clients and employees to Scripbox. The Delhi-NCR-based firm, founded by Ravi Kohli more than three decades ago, has built its business around retail and family investors in North India.
Scripbox said the acquisition aligns with its strategy of partnering with established advisory firms and integrating them into its broader wealth management platform.
For Bluechip Capital’s clients, the transition is expected to provide access to Scripbox’s investment research, digital advisory tools and asset allocation framework. The company currently offers products including mutual funds, fixed deposits, ETFs, US stocks and the National Pension System (NPS).
The acquisition highlights the growing consolidation trend in India’s wealth management industry, where technology-led platforms are increasingly partnering with traditional advisory firms to expand their client base and geographic presence.
Founded in 2012, Scripbox has been expanding its footprint through acquisitions and partnerships as competition intensifies in the financial advisory and investment management space. Bluechip Capital was advised by Pegasus Finserv on the transaction, while Scripbox received advisory support from LegaLogic Consulting and Globeview Advisors LLP.
