New Delhi, June 11(CXO Media): Dabur India has launched two Global Capability Centres (GCCs) as the company increases its focus on artificial intelligence, digital operations and technology-led business functions.
The FMCG major said it has established an IT & Digital GCC and a Digital Marketing GCC to centralise technology, analytics and digital capabilities across its global markets. The move reflects a growing trend among Indian companies that are adopting the GCC model to build specialised in-house expertise rather than relying entirely on external partners.
Focus On AI And Digital Infrastructure
According to the company, the IT & Digital GCC will oversee enterprise platforms, digital commerce, advanced analytics, generative AI, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure. The centre is expected to support technology initiatives across Dabur’s international operations.
The Digital Marketing GCC will focus on marketing technology, audience analytics, campaign optimisation, content intelligence and real-time performance measurement. The company plans to use AI-driven tools to improve customer targeting and digital engagement.
GCC Trend Gains Momentum In India
GCCs have traditionally been associated with multinational corporations operating technology and support centres in India. However, a growing number of domestic firms are now using the model to strengthen digital capabilities, data analytics and AI adoption at scale.
Dabur, which operates in more than 120 markets, reported consolidated revenue of Rs 13,193 crore in FY26. The latest GCC expansion highlights how Indian consumer goods companies are increasingly investing in AI, automation and digital transformation to support future growth and operational efficiency.
