New Delhi, June 11(CXO Media): Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a global partnership with Anthropic, marking one of its largest enterprise AI initiatives focused on scaling artificial intelligence across business operations and client engagements.
As part of the agreement, TCS will become a Global Premier Partner in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network and plans to provide access to Claude AI tools to 50,000 employees across engineering, finance, legal, marketing and sales functions. The move reflects a growing trend among large enterprises that are moving beyond AI pilot projects and looking for measurable business outcomes.
Focus On Regulated Industries
The partnership will focus on developing AI-driven solutions for sectors with strict compliance requirements, including banking and financial services (BFSI), healthcare, life sciences, public services, telecom and aviation. The companies will work on AI applications aimed at workflow automation, customer experience improvement and technology modernization.
TCS said it will also use the deployment internally to assess productivity gains and operational efficiencies before expanding similar use cases for clients.
AI Skills And Product Integration
A significant part of the collaboration involves workforce development. Through TCS ION, the company plans to offer training and certification programs around Anthropic’s Claude models to help build AI skills in India.
The partnership will also extend to TCS-owned platforms and businesses. Diligenta, TCS’ UK-based life and pensions business, is expected to use Claude for customer service and process automation initiatives. Meanwhile, TCS teams working on BFSI products will deploy Claude Code to support software engineering and IT operations.
The announcement comes as global technology companies increase investments in enterprise AI, with demand shifting from experimentation toward large-scale deployment and business-focused use cases.
