Noida, Aug 25 (APAC Media): Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday announced that it will acquire a 100 per cent stake in MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH (MHP), the management and IT consulting arm of Porsche AG, for an enterprise value of 320 million euros, approximately Rs 3,574 crore.
The acquisition is part of a wider five-year strategic partnership between TCS and German sports car manufacturer Porsche, with the overall collaboration valued at 1.25 billion euros.
According to a regulatory filing, the transaction will be executed through Tata Consultancy Services Netherlands BV, a wholly owned subsidiary of TCS. The board of the Netherlands-based entity has approved the acquisition of all equity shares in MHP from Porsche.
The deal is expected to be completed within the next three to four months, subject to regulatory approvals from the European Commission and authorities in Germany and Romania.
As part of the strategic partnership, TCS will establish a dedicated ‘AI Mobility Centre of Excellence’ for Porsche. The centre will work on scaling and implementing artificial intelligence applications across key areas of Porsche’s business, including manufacturing, engineering, operations and customer experience.
“As AI, software, and data redefine the automotive industry, this partnership brings together TCS’s capabilities in AI, engineering, technology, and business transformation with MHP’s strong automotive consulting expertise,” TCS CEO and Managing Director K. “Krithivasan said.
“Together, we will industrialise AI at scale for Porsche, accelerating innovation across the value chain to deliver intelligent, software-defined mobility experiences of the future,” he added.
MHP, headquartered in Ludwigsburg, Germany, provides management and IT consulting services across several industries. Its expertise spans automotive and manufacturing, as well as aerospace, defence, energy and the public sector.
The company has around 4,500 employees and reported a turnover of 742 million euros in calendar year 2025.
Porsche AG CEO Michael Leiters said the partnership would combine the carmaker’s industry expertise with TCS’ capabilities in digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
“By combining Porsche’s automotive expertise with TCS’ digital technology and AI capabilities, we will further strengthen our innovative power, increase efficiency, and boost our competitiveness in an increasingly data and software-driven world of mobility,” Porsche AG CEO Michael Leiters said.
The proposed acquisition will strengthen TCS’ presence in the European automotive consulting and technology market while providing Porsche with expanded access to AI, engineering and digital transformation capabilities.
The partnership is also aimed at accelerating the adoption of software and data-driven technologies across Porsche’s operations and future mobility initiatives.
