Chamoli: District Magistrate Swati Bhadauria does it again. This time for higher education. After various initiatives on school education, tourism, rural development, health, the young IAS officer now puts her focus on improving higher education infrastructure in the hilly district of Uttarakhand.
Recently she held a meeting with the heads of universities in the district and asked them to come up with the list of things needed for the improvement of quality education in varsities. Computer, projector, books for library, etc will be included in the list.
She has stressed on making university education smart with the use of latest technology & innovation.
The district magistrate along with her team has recently went for inspection of University buildings, hostels, library.
