New Delhi: Tejas Construction & Infrastructure Pvt Ltd (TCIPL) is harnessing the power of technology to implement projects in various states. This was expressed by Prashil Agarwal, Director of TCIPL. He was giving a technology presentation in virtual ‘Global Water Management Conclave’ organised recently by APAC News Network. It was the first edition of this prestigious virtual conclave on water.
‘TCIPL is in the business of executing turnkey projects of drinking water supply schemes and underground drainage and sewerage schemes in the Government sector since 1998. TCIPL is currently executing 9 water supply projects and 1 sewerage and underground project across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, As many as 14 water supply projects are already completed. We have deployed various technologies such as GIS, Building Information Modelling (BIM), drone based survey and monitoring, PLC SCADA, to name a few,’ said Prashil.
Highlighting present work he added, ‘we are currently working in the Ambikapur Water Supply Scheme wherein all these technologies are being utilised. The project is under the AMRUT Mission. The project includes work like Jackwell, Water Treatment Plant, Ground Level Service Reservoir, Overhead Tanks, etc.’
‘We have digitised the process of survey and data collection, which helps the Government authorities to get a better understanding of the needs and the progress of the project. These technologiogies and digitisation has helped us work and monitor the processes during the lockdown as well,’ TCIPL director added.
