New Delhi: PhonePe has announced that users can purchase Apple’s App Store Codes on the PhonePe app. These are unique codes which users can use to pay for digital content such as apps, games, music, and more on the App Store. The customers don’t need to use a debit/credit card or any other mode of online payment.
The codes are available in various denominations on PhonePe starting from Rs 100 and going up to Rs 10,000.
PhonePe customers can now get complete access to the world of entertainment including millions of apps available on the App Store. They also get access to groundbreaking games on Apple Arcade. What’s more, there are over 60 million songs with Apple Music to choose from along with original shows and films with Apple TV+.
PhonePe has been able to enable this service with its partnership with epay, a segment of Euronet Worldwide, Inc., who is the distributor of Apple for App Store Codes in India.
Here’s how PhonePe customers can buy & redeem App Store Code:
- Click App Store Code under Purchases on the Recharge & Bill Payment page
- Enter amount & purchase App Store Code
- Post payment, you will receive a code that can be redeemed at appstore.com/redeem
- Click on the redemption link that will be sent to you via SMS & email and enter the code
- Your Apple ID balance will be updated. Now pay for your favourite services easily.
Notably, App Store Codes can be used only to purchase goods and services from the iTunes Store, App Store, and subscriptions like Apple Music or iCloud storage.
