New Delhi, May 15 (APAC Media): The Central Government has appointed IAS Astik Kumar Pandey as Director in the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, under the Central Staffing Scheme.Â
Pandey is a 2011-batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre.
Currently serving as Joint Commissioner at the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority since April 17, 2025, Pandey has previously held several important administrative positions, including District Collector of Aurangabad, CEO of State Health Assurance Society, Assistant Collector in Nashik, Additional District Magistrate (ADM), and Commissioner-level assignments.Â
He will serve in the position for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge.
