Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd. has announced its collaboration with Andhra Pradesh Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC) to facilitate the supply of Erba range of fully/semi-automated biochemistry analyzers, coagulation analyzers and urine chemistry analyzers. These are being installed in several Primary Health Centres, Urban Primary Health Centres, Community Health and Wellness Centres, Sub-District Hospitals and District Hospitals in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The Transasia team is also imparting training to laboratory technologists belonging to all districts of Andhra Pradesh over a period of 45 days.
Early this week, they organised a 3-day training program in the newly-formed NTR district where several laboratory technologists were trained on the Erba range of analyzers. These advanced trainings provide a common understanding of diagnostic tests related to malaria, dengue, jaundice, anemia, cardiac disease, blood disorders and infectious diseases, free of cost, in a bid to enhance patient care.
Dr Y Ramireddy, Medical and Health Director of Andhra Pradesh Medical and Health Department opined that the AP government’s initiative will attain access to equitable, affordable and quality health care services that are responsive to people’s needs.
