9 IAS officers shifted in Bihar, Dayanidhan Pandey appointed Director, Revenue & Land Reforms

Patna: In an administrative shuffle in Bihar, nine Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been assigned new positions. A notification about the same was issued by the General Administrative Department on Thursday, September 21.

The transfers made are the following:

1. IAS officer Dayanidhan Pandey, Divisional Commissioner (DC) of Bhagalpur, has been appointed the new Director of Revenue and Land Reforms Department.
2. DC of Munger, IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh, will be replacing Pandey as the new DC of Bhagalpur, as an additional charge.
3. IAS officer Deepak Anand, who is the Additional Secretary of the Department of Art, Culture and Youth, will be taking over as the Director of Consumer Protection.
4. Joint Secretary in the Agriculture Department, IAS officer Anil Kumar Jha, has been posted as the new Secretary to the Board of Revenue.
5. IAS officer Sanjay Kumar, who is the Joint Secretary of Cooperatives Department, will now be assuming his responsibilities as the Commissioner of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Schemes (MGNREG).
6. Joint Secretary of Commercial Tax Department, IAS officer Ruby, has been appointed Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the Department of Arts, Culture and Youth and will also be holding the additional charge of Joint Secretary, Department of Arts, Culture and Youth.
7. Joint Secretary of the Agriculture Department, IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh, will be assuming responsibilities as the Joint Secretary, Construction Department.
8. IAS officer Abhay Jha, the Joint Secretary of the Cooperative Department, has been appointed the new Administrator of the Bihar State Road Transport Department.
9. Lastly, IAS officer Ashima Jain, who has been serving in the position of Special Secretary of Minor Water Resources Department, has been posted as the Administrator of the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation
