Jaipur: The Jaipur City Transport Services Limited (JCTSL) has implemented an Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Policy for the corporation on Friday. This is the first time in the Rajasthan Government that an ESG policy has been implemented by any undertaking or department.
IAS officer Ajitabh Sharma, who is also the chairman and managing director of Jaipur City Transport Services Limited (JCTSL), said, “The objective of this Policy is to integrate the ESCG considerations into JCTSL’s operations and business, mitigate material impacts and risks, and serve as a guiding document for its ESG initiatives and activities. We are the first department or the first corporation of the Rajasthan state government to appoint a Chief Sustainability Officer.”
