Chandigarh: According to an official statement, the Haryana government recently issued a transfer order for 9 IAS officers. However, according to a new order, the department allocation for two senior officers has been reversed.
In the previous order, IAS officer Sudhir Rajpal of the 1990 batch, was posted as Haryana’s new Additional Chief Secretary (home), but the post was later re-allocated to TVSN Prasad.
Rajpal has replaced Prasad, who was previously overseeing the Jails, Criminal Investigation and Administration of Justice Departments. Rajpal will also be serving as the Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department.
Prasad, a 1988-batch IAS officer, will be serving additionally as the Financial Commissioner for the Revenue and Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments apart from continuing his post as the ACS to Haryana Government, Cooperation Department.
Dr Sumita Mishra will continue serving as the ACS of Medical Education and Research Department, and additionally take charge of the food, civil supplies, and consumer affairs department.
Dr Raja Sekhar Vundru has been appointed to the civil aviation department as the ACS, and will additionally be serving as the ACS to government, Haryana, Housing for all Department.
V Umashankar of the 1993 batch, who is currently the Principal Secretary of the Citizen Resources Information Department, will also be serving as the principal secretary in the Information, Public Relations Languages and Culture Department and the principal secretary in the Foreign Cooperation Department.
Vijayendra Kumar will now be serving as the Principal Secretary of the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Departments, succeeding IAS Amneet P Kumar. Kumar, on the other hand, will be serving as the Commissioner and Secretary in the Women and Child Development Department.
