New Delhi: The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has announced its participation in Special Campaign 3.0, a new initiative aimed at improving workspace management and productivity. The campaign, which commenced on October 2, 2023, focuses on decluttering and enhancing efficiency within national institutes, organisations, research councils, subordinate entities, and MSDE’s own premises.
Special Campaign 3.0 is dedicated to achieving better space management and elevating the workplace experience in offices. It emphasises maintaining high standards of cleanliness and operational excellence.
As part of the campaign’s preparatory phase, MSDE has set ambitious targets to reduce pending matters. According to the Ministry’s records, the current pending matters include:
– References from MPs: 24
– Parliamentary Assurance: 4
– IMC Reference (Cabinet Proposals): 3
– State Govt. References: 3
– Public Grievances: 201
– PMO References: 2
MSDE is committed to resolving all these pending matters during Special Campaign 3.0, showcasing its dedication to efficiency and accountability. To prepare for the campaign, Secretary Atul Kumar Tiwari conducted a review of the initiative’s progress with nodal officers and division heads on October 6, 2023. Senior officers have been instructed to work diligently to achieve the established targets during the campaign period. A dedicated team is closely monitoring daily progress to ensure the campaign’s objectives are met.
Tiwari also commended all divisions for their efforts in the Swachhta Hi Seva campaign and encouraged them to continue contributing to a clean and green environment while meeting the parameters set under Special Campaign 3.0.
In the previous edition, Special Campaign 2.0, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship made significant achievements, including the disposal of 32 public grievances, the review of 12,830 e-files, the elimination of 2,115 physical files, the organisation of 6,954 cleanliness campaigns, the liberation of 5,783 sq.ft. of space, and the generation of INR 373,175 in revenue.
