Hyderabad: The GMR Hyderabad International Airport recently won the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award by the Airports Council International (ACI). According to a release by the airport authorities, it was declared the ‘Best Airport in the 15 to 25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA)’ category within the Asia-Pacific region for the year 2023. The airport toppled over 400 airports worldwide that participated in the ACI’s ASQ survey.
Pradeep Panicker, the CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited, credited this win to the collective effort and commitment of the airport team and stakeholders. He also talked about the recent enhancements made to the airport’s infrastructure and facilities that have contributed in improving operational efficiency, customer convenience, and the overall experience at the airport.
