New Delhi: IAS officer Dr. Parshant Kumar Goyal, currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Financial Services under the Ministry of Finance, has been appointed as the Government Nominee Director on the Boards of the National Insurance Academy (NIA) and the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) by the Union Government.
The 2007 batch Tripura cadre officer has also been nominated as a member of the Council of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI).
Goyal holds an MBBS degree from Punjabi University. He previously served as Secretary to the Chief Minister of Tripura. He also held additional responsibilities as Secretary of the GA (C&C) Department and Secretary of the Industries & Commerce Department.
