Mumbai: In a recent administrative move, the Maharashtra government has announced the transfer of three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to key positions within the state bureaucracy. Following are their names and new designations:
- IAS officer Idzes Angmo Kundan, who is currently posted as the Principal Secretary of the Minority Development Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai, has been reassigned as the Principal Secretary of the School Education and Sports Department. The 1996 batch officer from the Maharashtra cadre has previously served as the Additional Municipal Commissioner in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
- IAS officer Ranjit Singh Deol has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department, also at Mantralaya, Mumbai. He is currently serving as the Principal Secretary in the School Education and Sports Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai. Deol has previously served as the Managing Director of the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC). He is an officer from the 1998 batch of the Maharashtra cadre.
- IAS officer Anshu Sinha, who belongs to the 1999 batch, Maharashtra cadre, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary and Special Enquiry Officer (2) of the General Administration Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai. Sinha has previously served as the secretary in the OBC Bahujan welfare department and as the CEO of the MS Khadi Village Industries Board.
