New Delhi: Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) recently announced the launch of Wi-Fi 7 access points (APs) named HPE Aruba Networking 730 Series APs. These APs assure 30 per cent more capacity for wireless traffic than other similar products. They also guarantee better network security and location-based services for enterprise AI, Internet of Things (IoT), location and security applications.
HPE Aruba Networking 730 Series APs will be available globally in July 2024 and come with a limited lifetime warranty. It can be managed via HPE Aruba Networking Central on a subscription basis and is available as a standalone SaaS offering, or included as part of an HPE GreenLake (NaaS) subscription. Both these options can be accessed through the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform.
HPE’s patented ultra tri-band hardware technology utilises the 5GHz and 6GHz bands to automatically and continuously manage wireless traffic across different frequency bands, positioning the new Wi-Fi 7 APs above the standard. Managed by the HPE Aruba Networking Central, these APs support various IoT protocols, thereby eliminating the need for extra networks. They also provide secure connectivity that can adjust to the growing number of IoT devices placed by organisations at the network edge, like cameras, motor sensors, motion detectors and energy sensors.
