Mumbai: Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala has been named as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for India’s team at the 2024 Paris Olympics, to take place from July 26 to August 11. A well-known orthopaedic surgeon in Mumbai, his selection was finalised by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).
The IOA released a statement saying, “Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala will be responsible for the health and well-being of our athletes throughout the Games. Dr Pardiwala’s expertise and commitment to sports medicine will be invaluable in maintaining the fitness and performance levels of our contingent.”
