COGOS names Prasad Katta as Co-Founder

Bengaluru: COGOS, an intra-city logistics startup, has promoted its Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Prasad Katta, to the role of co-founder. Prasad Katta joined COGOS as its COO and board member last year. Previously, he served as the Head of Business Solutions at Wizz Financial, and in executive positions at Xpress Money and Digital (Flex). He is also the founder of Optimal Marketing Services in Dubai.

Additionally, Goutham BV, Vice President of Technology, has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He has served in companies like BMC Software and Boston Technology Corporation.

COGOS was founded in 2016 by Sreeram and Rama Mohan Katta. It operates as a B2B city logistics platform with over 450 truckers across 25 states in India. The platform utilises advanced sensors, IoT technologies, and third-party applications to manage the transportation of goods. Its clients include names like BigBasket, FedEx, Delhivery, ITC, Jumbotail, Amazon, Asian Paints, Britannia, and Flipkart.
