Mumbai: Welspun Corp Limited has named Swapnil Jugade as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO) – IT and Digital. He will be reporting to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and will oversee the technology initiatives of Welspun’s businesses including pipes, tubes, steel bars, Sintex, and shipyards in both India and the USA.
Jugade has 27 years of experience in IT transformation, with 10 years in supply chain and manufacturing operations and 17 years in IT leadership roles in companies like Godrej & Boyce, Schneider Electric, Cummins, C&S Electric, Yokohama Tires, and Revent Engineering (Amtek Auto).
A certified ERP expert from Oracle Global, Jugade has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Karad, and an Executive MBA from S. P. Jain Institute of Management in Mumbai. He is also certified in Six Sigma, Project Management, ITPM, and BCM.
