Nikhil Rungta takes charge as Co-Chief Investment Officer-Equity for LIC Mutual Fund

New Delhi: LIC Mutual Fund (LIC MF) has announced the appointment of Nikhil Rungta as Co-Chief Investment Officer – Equity (Co-CIO). Rungta has over 16 years of expertise in the equity and capital markets sectors with reputable financial institutions.

He has an MBA (Finance) from Mumbai’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and is a qualified Rank Holder Chartered Accountant. He is also a certified Financial Risk Management professional, having received certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals in the United States.

Prior to this position, Nikhil Rungta worked as an Equity Fund Manager for SBI Pension Funds. He has also held senior investment management positions such as Chief Investment Officer at Golden Myriad (Garware Group Family Office), Co-Fund Manager and Research Analyst at Nippon India Mutual Fund, and Investment Manager and Research Head at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company.
