Bengaluru: Ace Turtle, a technology-driven retailer, has announced new major appointments to its senior management team. The company has appointed Rahul Rajan as Chief Business Officer of retail of fashion brands.
In his new position, Rajan will be responsible for managing the expansion of all fashion brands in Ace Turtle’s portfolio through online and offline retail channels. He brings fifteen years of expertise to the table, including seven years as a business owner and previous positions in investing and strategy. An IIM Mumbai MBA alumni, Rajan comes to Ace Turtle from Flipkart, where he was instrumental in growing intricate, multibillion-dollar garment businesses and creating new ventures in the fast fashion, beauty, and FMCG sectors.
Apart from Rajan’s appointment, the firm has also named Agnes Raja George as AVP and Business Head of Wrangler & Central Planning, and Jitender Singh, as AVP & Business Head of Lee. These are intended to accelerate Ace Turtle’s expansion and forward the company’s goal of revolutionizing retail through cutting-edge technology.
With almost 23 years of experience in the fashion retail sector, Agnes Raja George was appointed as AVP and Business Head of Wrangler and Central Planning. Agnes has expertise in supply chain management, cash flow management, inventory planning, brand development, and marketing. His experience in brand management spans department stores, multi-brand outlets, online marketplaces, and exclusive brand stores in India. Agnes created and built the women’s clothing company De Moza before joining Ace Turtle. She has held several executive roles at Landmark Group India and Aditya Birla Fashion and Lifestyle.
The new AVP and Business Head of Lee, Jitender Singh, has 22 years of expertise in the FMCG, consumer durables, lifestyle, sports and fitness, and online and offline channels. He has a strong track record of creating and managing matrix and direct teams to promote long-term company success. Jitender was a Senior Director at Myntra before joining Ace Turtle, where he helped grow the brands of HRX and Nautica. He has held positions at Decathlon, 3M, TTK Prestige, and Café Coffee Day in the past.
