New Delhi: Galgotias University is hosting a three-day special space exhibition in collaboration with the Space Applications Center (SAC)- ISRO. The exhibition will be held as part of celebrations of National Space Day to mark the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the South Pole of the Moon.
The event entails interactive displays, models of satellites and launch vehicles, and interactive sessions with ISRO scientists. The initiative will provide an opportunity for students from surrounding regions to explore and learn about the advancements in space technology. It is a part of the bigger effort to promote space-based applications and inspire young students to explore careers in the space industry in India. The exhibition saw participation from hundreds of students on the first day.
The press conference was attended by three ISRO scientists: Mr. Paresh Sarvaiya, Senior Scientist and charge of VSSE SAC-ISRO; Mr. Vikas Gupta, Senior Scientist at SAC-ISRO; and Ms. Shivangi Jaiswal, Scientist at SAC-ISRO. The Space Applications Center (SAC) is one of the major bodies of ISRO that focuses on designing space-borne instruments for ISRO missions and the development of space technology applications for societal benefits.
