Bengaluru: Nutanix has announced the appointment of Prasanna Ranade as the Senior Director Enterprise and Govt Sales. Ranade will oversee Nutanix’s enterprise and government sales strategies in this role and drive growth across these critical sectors.
Ranade brings over two decades of experience in sales and strategic management to Nutanix. Before joining Nutanix, he served as the Enterprise Sales Head for India at Nutanix, where he managed key customer relationships and drove enterprise sales efforts from July 2022 to August 2024. Before his tenure at Nutanix, Ranade was with Commvault as an Enterprise Sales Director from March 2021 to July 2022, where he focused on general management and strategic planning. His previous experience includes a significant role at Dell Technologies, where he held various positions, including Sales Director and Enterprise Head for the West region of India, from February 2014 to November 2020. At Dell Technologies, Ranade led the enterprise division and managed top enterprise accounts.
Ranade began his career at IBM, working in services sales and managing datacenter offerings for the India-West region. His career also includes early roles at Ontrack Solutions Pvt Ltd as a Senior Marketing Executive. Ranade holds an MBA in Marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University, equipping him with a solid marketing and strategic sales management foundation.
