Chandigarh: The government of Punjab has announced the transfer of four IAS Officers posted as Deputy Commissioners in the state. The official transfer order has been issued and transfers will be exercised with immediate effect.
Kulwant Singh, an Indian Administrative Service Officer of the 2012 batch, has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Mansa. He was previously posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Moga and Commissioner of the Moga Municipal Corporation.
Other transferred officers include:
- Vishesh Sarangal, an Indian Administrative Service Officer of the 2013 batch, has become the Deputy Commissioner of Moga. He has been also given additional charge of Commissioner of Moga Municipal Corporation. He previously served as the Deputy Commissioner of Gurdaspur.
- Uma Shankar Gupta, an Indian Administrative Service Officer of the 2015 batch, has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Gurdaspur. Prior to this, he was posted as the Director of local government.
- Rajesh Tripathi, an Indian Administrative Service Officer of the 2016 batch, will take charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Sri Muktsar Sahib. He was previously serving as the Additional Secretary of Revenue and Rehabilitation, and Director of Land Records, Settlement, Consolidation, and Land Acquisition.
The posting orders of IAS Officers Paramveer Singh and Harpreet Singh Sudan will be issued later.
