Kaushambi: THDC India Limited has announced the appointment of Sipan Kumar Garg as Director (Finance) at the THDCIL Kaushambi office. He brings over 23 years of experience in Finance, Accounts, Taxation, and Commercial aspects within the power sector.
Prior to this role, he served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for two NTPC Limited subsidiaries: Aravali Power Company Private Limited and Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited. Garg is a financial professional with the educational background of Company Secretary and Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). In addition, he is a member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (CMA), the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (CS), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA).
Garg has also worked for NTPC Limited in several positions, including the Koldam Hydro Power Project and the Corporate Accounts Group. He has made a significant contribution to the accounting community and held positions on a number of committees within The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, such as the Members in Industry Group (PSU), the Accounting Standards Study Group, and the Committee on Public Finance and Government Accounting.
