Ahmedabad: In a significant move to ease travel experience and provide passengers with real-time access data, Adani Airports Holdings Limited (AAHL) has introduced Aviio, a new digital platform designed to deliver real-time airport information. This includes information related to passengers’ journeys such as wait times, gate changes, and baggage status. With Aviio, AAHL aims to bring the aviation community together to collaborate and serve passengers better.
According to a statement by Adani Group, this initiative is expected to set a global benchmark for airport operations. The development of the platform includes designing a Smart Airport Operations System, similar to a ‘Airport-in-a-Box’ model. Also known as the AOCC (Airport Operations Control Centre)-on-the-go, the Aviio app brings together all the stakeholders including AAHL employees, airlines, ground handlers, and retailers, who will use features that are relevant to their role.
AAHL is a subsidiary of the Adani Group with airports operational in seven Indian cities: Jaipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Mumbai, Mangaluru, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad. In addition, another airport is scheduled to become operational in mid-2025.
