New Delhi: LEAD Group, a school ed-tech company in India, has introduced TECHBOOK, a tool to improve traditional classroom learning. Launched on September 11, 2024, TECHBOOK combines technologies like Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to offer students a more interactive and personalized educational experience.
TECHBOOK is designed to address common challenges in education by providing NCF-aligned content. It includes features such as AR for visualizing complex subjects like Science and Mathematics, a reading assistant for language learning, and adaptive exercises that allow students to progress at their own pace.
Co-founder and CEO Sumeet Mehta emphasized that TECHBOOK is the result of extensive research and aims to modernize student engagement with learning materials. The tool will be introduced initially to 400 selected schools, with plans to expand to 5,000 schools by 2028. The launch of TECHBOOK reflects the growing trend of incorporating AI and immersive technology into the education system in India.
