New Delhi: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) launched its ‘Swachhta Hi Seva 2024’ campaign on September 14, with activities planned until October 1, 2024. The campaign is centered around the theme ‘Swabhav Swachhta – Sanskar Swachhta’, aiming to make cleanliness a habitual practice and a cultural norm.
At the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, senior RINL officials, including Director (Personnel) SC Pandey, Director (Finance) SRVGK Ganesh, Director (Commercial) GVN Prasad, and Chief Vigilance Officer Dr. S Karuna Raju, led the event, where employees and management took a pledge to uphold cleanliness.
The campaign includes several initiatives targeting employees, contract laborers, students, and sanitation workers. Activities such as cleanliness drives (Swachhata Bhageedar), safety awareness sessions for contract workers, and educational programs (Bala Swachhta Jagruti) for school children are being organized. A tree plantation initiative titled ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ and personal hygiene awareness sessions for sanitation workers (Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivirs) is also part of the agenda.
The initiative underscores RINL’s commitment to promoting cleanliness within the company and the broader community.
