New Delhi: Servotech Power Systems has secured a contract from Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) to install 11 public DC fast EV charging stations across Karnataka. The stations will be set up at Regional Transport Office (RTO) premises throughout the state, significantly expanding the EV charging infrastructure.
As part of the project, Servotech will oversee the entire process, from planning and design to installation, ensuring the charging stations meet safety and performance standards. The company aims to support the growing demand for electric vehicles by providing dependable and accessible charging facilities.
Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Power Systems, emphasized the importance of the project in contributing to the broader goal of building a sustainable EV infrastructure in India. The company has also recently partnered with other regional agencies, indicating a strategy to enhance its presence in the EV sector.
This development aligns with Karnataka’s efforts to boost EV adoption, offering greater convenience to electric vehicle owners across the state. The installation of these charging stations marks a step forward in strengthening the region’s green mobility framework.
